  EMEA DC Meeting Statement – 22 August 2023
  The EMEA DC considered the information that was submitted consisting of (i) an announcement of the Reference Entity dated 21 June 2023; (ii) a Moody’s announcement; and (iii) a Bloomberg link relating to the Moody’s announcement.
  The EMEA DC noted that an announcement by Moody’s is not one of the designated types of information capable of satisfying the requirements in Section 2.1(b) of the DC Rules (Publicly Available Information) which in turn cross refers to Section 1.35 of the 2014 Definitions. The EMEA DC also noted that (i) the announcement of the Reference Entity was too preliminary in nature to satisfy such requirements; and (ii) if information published by Public Sources will be used to satisfy such requirements, then two separate Public Sources are required.
  Therefore, the EMEA DC concluded that it had not received Publicly Available Information that satisfies the requirements of Section 2.1(b) of the DC Rules for a Credit Event with respect to the Reference Entity.
